The Thunder Mtn trail and highway entrance are closed due to logging and low snow. Do not use for skiing or snowshoeing. Do not park at the highway either.

Snowshoers! Please be careful when you cross frozen ponds. With the warm weather, water is coming on top of the ice and the ice may not be too solid. Where are the ponds? One is on Snowy Owl at the base of Snow Vista Ridge (which the skiers call Alta Vista Ridge.) Another is on Snowy Vista, at the intersection with Snow Way. A third is further north on Snowy Vista, just before the trapper's cabin.

The snowphone will only be updated on grooming days. The website will give details on the other days.

Due to the lack of new snow and skiers,we will not groom Mondays or Fridays(except for March 5th). However we will groom whenever there is meaningful new snow, until further notice. Some trails will not be groomed and the grooming board should be checked.

Snowshoers! Have you seen the new square signs where snowshoe trails cross ski trails? These signs, courtesy of Dave Thomas, name the ski trail you are crossing. I have placed them back a little from the ski trail, and they are on only one side of the trail. I'll have others up as the season progresses (think snow!). Rick
